Annotation

This article is intended to reveal the potential of cyber and information technologies in the practice of teaching Russian to foreign students. The paper highlights such aspects of the topic as the definition of the term “cyber and information technologies”, their essence and the possibility of using them in the process of teaching Russian as a foreign language. The role of cyber and information technologies in the implementation of the teacher’s tasks for the development of students’ skills in all types of foreign language activities (productive and reproductive), grammatical, lexical and socio-cultural competencies is characterized, the issues of using cybertexts as didactic accompaniment to practical classes in the audience of foreign speakers with different levels of general foreign language proficiency are discussed, the circle of positive influences of such the type of texts on the degree to which students achieve educational results. Recommendations are offered to teachers of Russian as a foreign language on the use of cyber and information technologies in the educational process in order to make it more effective.
