The paper describes models of integrating AI tutors into lower secondary lessons and allocating functions between teachers and AI-based assistants. Based on literature
review, theoretical modelling and analysis of learning traces, three interaction models and effectiveness conditions are identified. Key risks include reduced learner autonomy,
fragmented understanding and academic integrity issues. A design table is proposed to support lesson planning with AI tutors.
