Annotation
The article analyzes modern practices in individualizing computer science instruction, encompassing theoretical and methodological foundations, technological tools, and pedagogical approaches. It describes both domestic and international experiences with individualization technologies — from the use of distance and adaptive educational resources to the design of individualized educational trajectories for students. A comparison of approaches to individualizing computer science instruction in Russia and abroad is provided based on a set of identified characteristics.
