Annotation

In the article an analysis of the risks that arise from using multimedia presentations in lectures is presents. Based on the analysis of existing publications and the survey, the authors identified a set of problems that arise in the case of inadequate use of the technology for creating and using presentations. The most important risks are defined as: loss of interaction between the lecturer and the audience, cognitive overload, increased passivity of the audience, distortion of the presented material.
