Annotation

The article discusses the risks and prospects of introducing digital technologies into the process of foreign language education. The authors draw attention to the fact that digitalization of education, on the one hand, allows for a positive impact on the quality of the organization of the educational process, and to reduce the level of student learning, on the other. The ways of using digital tools in the process of developing all types of speech activity in a foreign language, as well as the basic competencies of foreign speakers, are described.
