Annotation
The article reveals the aspects of the effectiveness of the process of formation
of the communicative competence of foreign students in the course of mastering Russian
as a foreign language in the context of digitalization of education. The paper clarifies that
digitalization has both a positive and negative impact on the degree of learning of foreign
speakers and opens up wide opportunities to enrich the arsenal of means of forming communicative
skills of foreign students in the practice of mastering Russian as a foreign language,
which turns out to be the central task of foreign language education. A list of ways
to develop the communicative competence of foreign speakers based on modern digital
and information and communication technologies of education is proposed. The widespread
use of such methods has a fruitful effect on the formation of all components of the communicative
competence of foreign students, increases their cognitive activity and expands
their communicative field.
