Annotation

Today, there is a pronounced demand for multimedia content, and the educational environment can no longer be imagined without the presence of massive open online courses (MOOC), as well as learning management systems. The purpose of the study is to identify the most successful examples of the introduction and use of online products from the leaders of the educational services market and EduTech startups from around the world in the segment of mass education for a wide range of people. The objectives of the study are to identify the most promising areas for the development of online mass learning platforms and to develop methodological recommendations for choosing MOOC platforms and LMS systems (English Learning Management System). The article analyzes the best practices for the introduction and use of digital educational online platforms, examines the best international experience, MOOCs are divided into types and modifications, a checklist is proposed as selection criteria. The results of the article can be effectively used in everyday pedagogical and business practice.
