Annotation

The relevance of the research lies in the fact that information technologies in the educational sector make it possible to optimize the educational process through the use of new technological solutions for teaching, communication with teachers. Pacific National University (PNU) will be presented as an example of consideration of the information and educational sector. The aim of the study is to improve the quality of the IT-technologies used in the process of distance learning. Research objectives: 1) study of online education market statistics; 2) collecting data on the information and educational complex of the University; 3) developing a questionnaire for conducting a sociological survey of students; 4) conducting a SWOT analysis on the use of IT-technologies in the learning process at the University of PNU; 5) developing recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure for interaction with students.
