Annotation

The relevance of the research problem is due to the contradiction between the existing modern understanding of the quality of educational achievements, criteria, signs, and levels of their assessment in the context of the implementation of competence-based requirements of the federal state educational standard of higher education and issues related to the diagnostic effectiveness of traditional methods in assessing the formation of competencies. The purpose of the study: to test the effectiveness of teaching computer science to 1st-year masters in the direction 44.04.01 «Pedagogical education» using the elective course «Scientometry in the digital environment». Research objectives: 1) determination of criteria for the effectiveness of training; 2) selection of competence-oriented diagnostics; 3) experimental verification and evaluation of the effectiveness of scientometry as a form of teaching computer science to 1st-year masters in the direction 44.04.01 «Pedagogical education». Using concrete examples, a modular rating system is demonstrated that can be used to evaluate the teaching of computer science to masters. The paper shows the criteria for the effectiveness of the module-rating system of teaching the elective course «Scientometry in the digital environment».
