Annotation

The article describes the structure of the elective course «Scientometrics in the digital environment», intended for 1st year students studying under the Master’s degree program 44.04.01 «Pedagogical Education». Key indicators of scientometry are used to conduct the course classes: citation index, impact factor, Hirsch index, Russian and foreign scientometric databases. The peculiarity of this course is the study of the rules for the preparation and registration of scientific articles in journals indexed in Russian and international scientometric databases.
