Annotation

The article describes the essence of real gaming practice and analyzes options for classifying games, mechanics, dynamics and aesthetics of the game, the main stages of the game as a type of activity, the criterial basis for evaluating the results of the game etc. This range of information is necessary, according to the authors, to characterize the didactic capabilities and effectiveness of using game-based educational practices to develop competencies, for example, in the conditions of advanced training for teaching and management personnel in the field of education. The article presents the advantages and disadvantages of gaming practice with board games for teachers. The need to use the dynamic didactic business game “This is not a game” created at the Academy of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation for teaching and management personnel in the field of education has been updated, promoting training in the prevention and prevention of cyber threats, information security of schoolchildren (in a broad sense), in particular, safe behavior of children on the Internet.
